We use the eye and mindset of the artist to enhance the travel experience,
whether or not one actually makes a piece of art.
Fleeting impressions
are internalized and made permanent through artistic visualization. It's
your choice whether to employ a paintbrush, a piece of chalk, a camera
or just your curiosity and imagination.
Professional instruction and materials
are provided within the structure and schedule of each cruise itinerary.
Several days at sea present different possibilities from island-hopping
or city visits. The emphasis is always on flexibility and seizing the
moment.
Art activities are related to the destination and coordinated with other
cruise themes. History, wine, whatever the area of interest, it can be enriched
through art. Collaboration is our specialty.
Realistically, on most cruises there is not much time to make art. We address
this by being poised for opportunity. Spontaneity is the key to freeing
your muse at a moments notice.
For some, the rewards of deeper seeing and
shared observation are enough. For the more actively involved we make
it possible to dash off an alla prima painting at the foot of an ancient
monument.
